Celeron were (are)the "mobile" cheapie CPU's, and started in 1998 so
"when you assume" :)

I too am not on the go 64-bit or go home band-wagon, afaik 64-bit adds
more (possible) memory into the mix. I've never properly educated
myself on what else 64-bit brings to the party. Other than possible
memory use/size I don't see a difference with my day to day
operations, but with benchmarking and overall "real" speed I can see
why you'd want to go 64-bit for JtR.
