Figured that out, the irc client I used doesn't show channels with less
then 5 members by default on list or it had 0 users, in which case the
server will not list it at all.
The channel is registered(through freenode) to Openwall right?

Merely creating them is not enough, advertising such support channels is
necessary too, and I can't do that nor have any authority to do it.
The best place to advertise such support channels would be an
announcement on mailing lists + openwall.com post and mention in
openwall.com/community/ as well as in the wiki and README's of projects
+ patience(and they will come). :D
Merely creating the channel and waiting for people to join is not going
to work, as you i suppose you already knew.
