It turned out that this diff-of-diff would break the underlying patch
(line numbers not updated).  A better way to submit a patch to be
applied on top of the jumbo patch would be by generating it relative to
a jumbo-patched tree, not patching a .diff file.  I'm sorry that I did
not catch this error earlier.

Also, the Subject is not entirely correct.  This is about adding a
fallback to copyright and licensing for those who might not recognize
your ability to place your code into the public domain - but the public
domain statements remain the main/default option.

Anyhow, I ended up merging your changes into 1.7.6-jumbo-7 manually.
